Grimani is a tribute to the Hall of Foliage in the Palazzo Grimani di Santa Maria Formosa in Venice. In celebration of sumptuous nature, the ceiling of the hall is entirely covered with plants, fruit trees, and flowers, in a dense thicket inhabited by many animals. The Grimani pattern features a dreamlike display of birds and motifs between foliage and paisley, in delicate shades of blue-grey and golden hues.
